31 Abstract The glorious Qur’an, the book of Allah, the Almighty, revealed to our Prophet Muhammad ص ل اللهلل ي لن م has its sublime place and stature in the souls and hearts of all Muslims. To deal with a translation of the meanings of the Qur’an is not an easy task to undertake specially when you are aware of the glorious of committing errors even though unintentionally, but one has to take the risk since such an attempt is worth the trial. The Almighty is the only perfect. Since christianization is spreading dangerously worldwide and it became aggravated, scholars and learnd Muslims should encounter such intensified moves by all means possible. To achieve such a great goal, any scholar and true Muslim should pay heed to produce a modernized translation of the meanings of the Qur’an, a trial, or an experience which I, as a member of a big group of University scholars have undergone with the aspiration to produce an authentic rectified copy of the translations of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an in English based on the various translations available. This paper is an attempt to tackle such a personal experience showing all, the endeavor, efforts, and the striving undertaken toward accomplishing an emended standard translation of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an in English.
