111 ABSTRACT Comparative Interpretation Theory And Application Study Of Surat Al-fatiha Prepared by Rawdah A.K Pharaon Supervised by Dr.FADEL HASAN ABBAS Dr.SHHADA HUMAIDY AL-AMRY This thesis has dealt with one type of interpretation, na mely: the (Comparative Interpretation) from two angles, a theoretical angle and a practical angle. Within the first angle, questions of theory were discussed revealing the reality of the topic and dealing with its aspects. As for the second angle, the dis cussion targeted the topics that were debated by the scholars related to Surat Al-Fatiha, the study of their arguments and the analysis of their evidence in a methodology that concluded the most likely interpretation of the holy verses, as per the research er’s opinion. The objectives of this thesis included preparing of a fundamental analysis that reveals the basics of this line of interpretation and affirms it to other researchers as to be taken into consideration in their studies and researches. In addit ion, this thesis will provide practical models showing the approach to compare among the different arguments of interpretation scholars. This thesis concluded to a number of results and recommendations, one of which shows that the (Comparative Interpretat ion) subject is the word of Allah in terms of its probable indications, and that it is based on the variety among the arguments of interpretation scholars on the same position, which means that the (Comparative Interpretation) has only one type and not many.
