عدد الصفحات ١٤٩132 This study investigated both "Af'ala and Fa''ala " formulas in general and the comparison between them in the Holy Koran in particular. The first part of this study , the prelude , discussed morphology in different aspects , the role of structure in clarifying Koran indications and the importance of Statistics and statistical studies. Consequently, the first chapter stud ied "addition" meanings in "Af'aal and Fa 'ala" formulas. Further, it included the verbal "Af'aal and Fa'ala" formulas from the same root (base) in the Holy Koran which are twenty four from both formulas mentioned above as follows : (Aathana, Aththana); (abdala, baddala);(absara, bassara); (abbana, bayyana); (Athbata, thabbata); (Athaaba, thawwaba); (a'habba, ' habbaba); (A'hdatha, ' haddatha); (aa'thama, a'ththama); (Akbara, Kabbara); (Akrama, Karrama); (Akraha, karraha); (akfara, kaffara); (alqa, Laqqa); (Amsaka, massaka); (Amkana, Makkana); (Amhala, mahhala); (anba'a, nabba'a); (anja, najja); (anzala, nazzala); (ansha'a, nashsha'a); (Ankara, nakkra); (Awssa, wassa) and (awfa, waffa) – documenting how many times they were mentioned in the Holy Koran , and their locations in terms of past , present and imperative tenses , their meanings in such locations in general and a briefing about their morphological meaning, if necessary. The second chapter compared between both formulas from the same root (base) in the Holy Koran starting with (Aathana, Aththana;) and ending with (awfa, waffa) trying to raise points of divergence and convergence in locations where they were mentioned through their lexical meaning and context , arguments of some interpreters in each of such lo cations and looking up to some Koran readings in these verses as possible.
