(Supervisor prof. Dr Imad Abdullah Al - shareefein, phd). This study aimed at developing mental health scale and exploring its affecting factors from an Islamic educational perspective. The stud y was conducted on a sample of (823) from Yarmouk University. To achieve the study goals three instrument measuring mental health, human self states, and self -control. Results showed that mental health level, from Islamic educational perspective was high, while human self states came as follows: tranquiller self with high degree, exaggeration self with a moderate degree, and bad ordering self (AlAmmarah) with a moderate degree, moreover self monitoring level was high. Results also show that predictive mo del of the indcpentent variables (tranquil) self, self monitoring (control) ordering self, father education diploma, Annafsu exaggeration, 10w family income, study level second years and dependent variable (mental health as a whole) was statistically significant explaining (44.13%) of the explained variance of predictive model specific to the one predicted, in addition, the model related to the independent variables (self monitoring, tranquiled self, annatns exaggeration, father education secondary school, low familly income,

More over, the predictive model of the depe ndent (self monitoring, tranquilled self, annafsu exaggeration, bad ordcving self, tirst study year and third study year) and the predicted variable (satisfaction with others) was statistically significant explaining (30.50%) of the total explained varianc e of the predictive mode of the prcdicted, also, the model related to the independent variable (self monitoving, tranquilled self, father education level is diploma, high familly income level, and second study year) and the predicted variable (ability to meet tite demands) was significant and explained (37.37%) of the total explained variance of the predictive model, however, the predictive model for the independent variable (bad ordering self, tranquilled self, village resideuce and Annafsu , Annafsu exaggeration) and the predicted variable (mental safety), was statistically significant, explaining (30.61%) of the total explained variance of the predictive model. Key words: mental health, mental health scale, factors affect mental health, Islamic education, university students.
